I am an enduser of the software and we have required cybersecurity training to take on an annual basis. The software allows us to send Phishing emails to our Help Desk and they are able to determine if it is a real threat and take actions accordingly. The training I have taken is very well put together and entertaining as well as informative.
  • Training about cybersecurity.
  • Testing what you have learned.
  • Does a robust job with testing emails afterwards.
  • User interface seems good
  • Deepfakes and AI are hot topics
  • Mobile apps that are bad?
This platform provides good training about cybersecurity for our organization. The website and mobile app are easy to use and makes for a good experience for having a good training lesson. The quizzes are also fun to go through and see how good the scammers are in trying to compromise computer systems.

All employees take cyber security awareness training during onboarding, and subsequently if they've clicked a link or opened a document in a phishing campaign. Periodically we easily send out short training sessions for a specific topic based on need because of a new attack vector or because a particular type of phishing campaign is more successful than others.
  • explains cyber topics understandably
  • provides timely questions during training to reinforce learning
  • provides outstanding phishing campaigns that are extremely easy to administer
  • integration of the Phish Alert button in an easily accessible location in web Outlook and on mobile devices
  • provide a multitude of small, short topics that can be consumed quickly and easily replacing the annual 20 to 40 minute sessions with many 2 to 4 minute snippets over the year.
I'm not sure where awareness training is not appropriate, everyone needs to take a moment before clicking a link or opening a document. KnowBe4 makes it easy to learn and practice these skills. The training modules are very well done and paced nicely. The phishing campaigns come at employees from almost every vector conceivable allowing them to demonstrate how well they paid attention to the training.

We use it for security awareness training covering phishing, social engineering, wifi, mobile devices, PCI, HIPAA, privacy, passwords, and password managers. Make users more aware of the tactics and techniques of cyber criminals.
  • gamification
  • good selection of videos
  • posters and artwork
  • more shorter videos
  • videos from the point of view of the attacker
  • more games
It is well suited for phishing and social engineering. We also used it for phishing simulation. In the diamond selection there is a lot we don't use which makes it less appropriate.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is the platform we use that educates and trains employees on cybersecurity. It includes a phishing simulation tool that sends simulated phishing emails to test users' ability to recognize and respond to attacks. The tool generates reports to identify weaknesses and target training efforts. KnowBe4 also offers training modules on social engineering, password security, and more. By regularly conducting simulations and providing comprehensive training, KnowBe4 helps organizations strengthen their cybersecurity defenses and reduce the risk of falling victim to phishing attacks.
  • Provide a phishing reporting tool
  • Constant update of training modules
  • Integrates with our HR platform
  • User risk measurements are not accurate.
  • Training content can sometimes be outdated.
  • Some of the training aren't very relevant.
While KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is effective for general employee training on cybersecurity, it may be less appropriate for IT/Dev teams who require more specialized and technical training. These teams may benefit from more advanced and in-depth training programs tailored to their specific roles and responsibilities in the organization's security infrastructure.

<div>We utilize it for a variety of required training. Ranging from PCI Compliance, Cybersecurity, Sexual Harassment, and various other required IT and HR topics. • Phishing Tests
  • PCI Compliance and other security related trainings
  • Various HR related topics such as Sexual Harassment that cover various states and local laws, professional development, HIPAA, Working remotely, etc.
  • Various Regulatory business requirements so it fits anything from medial to retail sector.
  • Sometimes the communication templates are hard to edit but other than that its a solid product that once configured kind of runs on its own.
It is well suited in any industry that requires computers that have sensitive data on them.

I've been using KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training for a while now, and I can confidently say that this training software helps us create a culture of cybersecurity awareness among our employees and reduces the risk of falling victim to cyberattacks with clear metrics. With its comprehensive training, reasonable pricing, realistic simulations, and user-friendly interface, I recommend this solution to anyone.
  • Phishing Simulations
  • Customizable Content
  • Comprehensive Reporting
  • Multi-language support
  • Mobile support
This solution is great for helping employees learn how to deal with a real-world phishing attack with an economic budget and convince many stakeholders, especially executives that the phishing attack is much more tricky than people assume. The phishing simulation helps capture the ROI of the software effectively, too.

We provide quarterly training to our employees, focusing on current events. One good thing about KnowBe4 is they keep their training content regularly updated. This allows us to keep avoid duplicating training modules, keeping the content fresh. There is ample material on social engineering, which is a major concern since most malware/ransomware is introduced into environments by an accidental click.
  • Social Engineering / Phishing Training
  • Interesting, well-presented content that doesn't get boring
  • Various length videos and training content
  • Large amount of support documentation (posters, newsletters, etc.) for each topic
  • More training videos are always nice
  • More in depth quizzes built into the training content
KnowBe4 training offers department specific training. This allows us to focus training where it is needed. Engineers do not need PCI training and financial people do not need code cleaning training. Having the ability to offer both general and specific training is fantastic.

KnowBe4 has been a great asset to us. We started using it when we realized our users didn't know enough about the threats that were out there. I set up a fake email address and sent it to a few people in our organization, and an alarming number failed to tell it was fake. Now after training, our users are amazing at either spotting or reporting phishing and fake emails. We went from a nearly 30 percent failure rate to less than 2 percent now. I can't recommend KnowBe4 enough. Everyone I talk to that even mentions phishing, I tell them about our success. The ongoing training videos keep us all up to date, and the simulated phishing emails work wonders to make our users stay on their toes about security. It also goes past just email, their videos have helped our users spot fake websites and be much more cautious when traveling and getting on WIFI.
  • Amazing customer service. Our rep constantly monitors our campaigns and helps keep us up to date.
  • Prenominal content. They constantly keep their content for training and simulated phishing emails up to date.
  • Easy to use. The portal is a breeze to get training and other campaigns up and running.
  • I honestly can't find anything wrong with KnowBe4.
If you are worried about your people needing training about how to spot phishing, this is for you. I recommend it to all the other John Deere and Freightliner dealers I talk to, and they almost all end up as customers as well. I'm not sure of a scenario it's not well suited for. The only downfall is you have to pay for it, but it's pretty well priced for all that it does, and they have multiple levels to choose from.

All employees receive at least one training video and one episode of The Inside Man serial every month. We all send out phish test emails every month to all users and track their ability to recognize and report the phish. If a Phish test is failed by clicking on a link or other activity, the number of training that person receives increases based on the number of failures they have in a year.
  • The Inside Man serial is a big hit.
  • Developing Phish test emails is easy.
  • Tracking training completion and phish results.
  • Scheduling trainings based on previous failures.
  • API's for downloading user result information could be improved.
  • Result tracking is easy but layout could be cleaner.
  • Scheduling of additional trainings based on failures could be improved.
  • PhishAlert is useful but can be problematic when users are using different devices for email. I.e. Outlook app vs. OWA vs. mobile devices.
KnowBe4 is great for creating engaging and entertaining videos that people enjoy and look forward to. The PhishAlert and phish test scenarios are an important part of our tracking that employees are getting the message. We have had some difficulty with users and the PhishAlert when using different devices. The process is different if using Outlook from the web vs the desktop vs a mobile device

It's used by all employees in the organization to better understand online risks and be aware of steps to take in various situations. We deal with large amounts of data and numerous vendors and it teaches all employees how to protect that data and to be alert when a situation arises online
  • Videos
  • Simple explanations of the risks
  • Guides you through how to handle the situations and risks
  • Could address more about GDPR as it's becoming more common
  • Could provide more examples of phishing scams because they are evolving all the time
  • Branch out and include more examples of other security threats
It's well suited for any employees who use a computer at work. The training will provide good examples of phishing scams and how to spot them and what actions should be taken when you do encounter these situations. The training is less appropriate for company employees who don't touch a computer in their role within the company. Most of the examples in this video won't apply to those people.

In our environment, KnowBe4 is used to heighten awareness of phishing and spearphishing attempts as well as test our user base with phishing emails. We use this to train and retrain our employees to recognize the common tells in a phishing email and what they should do rather than click on a link. During a campaign, if someone clicks on one of the links, they are immediately made aware of their mistake and asked to take a quick microlesson to reinforce why the email was a phishing email.
  • Identify individuals that may need more training.
  • Encourage users to utilize the "fishhook" to help get clarity if they are unsure of an email.
  • Give our users comfort knowing that they can identify phishing emails and protect the company from threats.
  • Campaigns can be a little daunting to setup.
  • Some of the training is campy like the Hacker Christmas gift exchange.
  • If you have mobile users they do not have a simple way to flag a potential phishing email like a laptop user can.
This is well suited for users that have access to a desktop or laptop, less so for a worker that only uses a cellphone or small tablet. We had excellent results working in our environment and saw click-through rates drop dramatically by the second month of training. I think it is a good fit for our office workers but less so for workers in the field. There needs to be buy-in from management for this to be successful; as an IT project, it would fail because without management buy-in, there is no incentive to take time from everyday work.

We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to provide cybersecurity training to every employee 4 times per year. We also use it to do monthly phishing tests (emails) to every employee. We believe these satisfy questions we sometimes see on cyber liability insurance and IT audit questionnaires and therefore help us to comply with various standards or other requirements.
  • self-paced security training for every employee
  • Phishing emails
  • overall organizational score based on results of these activities
  • easy administration
  • I am not aware of a mobile app, and many people would probably use it if there were one (or if I knew about it and could tell them)
  • Sometimes the videos try to be "cute" and perhaps that works for some, but I don't find it to be my preference. I suppose having that option is fine... and the admin just doesn't have to include in the "menu" for their employees.
Companies that don't currently have a method of providing cybersecurity training to employees should take a look at KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to satisfy this need. Cyber liability insurers will certainly ask if a security training program is in place. Fully and properly implemented, KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is a great and easy way to say "yes" to that question.

We use the security awareness training module to provide consistent training across the organization to meet our compliance requirements for our security plan. It's being used to help avoid potential problems by making our users keenly aware of the dangers that can affect our organization through phishing and other email scams.
  • You can track each user or group's compliance so you know if everyone has been trained or not.
  • The software offers a customized setup for each campaign including custom email notifications.
  • The library offers a wide range of videos that cover many current topics of interest.
  • User management can be difficult to maintain.
  • Phishing campaigns can be thwarted by Gmail's internal security features.
  • My users appreciate the training videos with some user interaction so more of those would be nice.
The training videos are easy to understand, even for non-technical users, so everyone benefits and gets something from the training.

It is being used across our organization, which includes a hospital, 8 health clinics, a retirement home, and an Alzheimer’s unit. Prior to KnowBe4 our security posture was very weak and our employees did not take CyberSecurity seriously. KnowBe4 has helped us turn this completely around. Our click rates have gone down significantly.
  • The trainings themselves are quick, easy, and get right to the point.
  • Staff have commented that training is actually fun to do.
  • The control center is easy to use and very in-depth.
  • Customer service is top notch too!
  • Their in-services are very informative.
  • I think some of the videos could be improved. Some of them seem a little geared towards children.
Prior to KnowBe4, we had trouble with employee engagement regarding CyberSecurity. It’s been such a difference since and I am 100% satisfied. Even exceeded expectations. We had specific departments that were having trouble and KnowBe4 let us tailor to them. After a few months their compliance has increased significantly too.

Currently, our organization leverages KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training as the primary means of Security Awareness Training. We are currently testing Security Coach but one constant business problem that is faced is the lack of end-user understanding of different security issues. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training has varied training and right now, does only email education with the online portal logins. Our team is looking to leverage the mobile app and with Teams rollout and integration for reminders to staff. Our team has noticed persistent failures are not addressed on the click-stroke but rather on the read/unread attribute. This allows us to notify users based on inconsistent data which has prompted for customization of how training is pushed. Simulated emails have reduced spam-rates by 10% but I would like to integrate with Teams and cloud platforms to increase this initiative. Spam is still being sent but the rate of phishing emails has dropped.
  • Quarterly trainings
  • Simple and efficient feedback
  • Remedial periods
  • Mandate disposition and classification of emails for end-user training
  • In my opinion, use caution when the desktop portal and unique passwords are not linked to SSO or LDAP sign-on for training
  • Training metrics on users more prone to spam, phishing, etc. that can be run off reports to see which users are still reporting most spam
  • Prioritize risky users and develop training content with SecurityCoach based on type of online behavior not just limited to email security
KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is less appropriate for remedial training on a quarterly basis where all users have to sign in through a web portal. This increased the risk of password misuse and missed training compliance. KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is well suited for security coaches leveraging teams integrations and at-risk behavior-based training,

We provide bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly training as well as phishing campaigns at least monthly to educate and inform our users. Users failing phishing tests receive additional training. This helps our users help keep us safe as well as themselves personally. It also helps us meet the requirements of our cyber-insurance carrier. We train and test every employee.
  • tracking of user progress and testing.
  • training modules are informative and easy to navigate.
  • a customer success advocate always keeps us aware of changes, etc.
  • there are training modules for every scenario.
  • An easier configuration for adding employees that may not have company email.
KnowBe4 SAT is well suited for any business with people using a computer that has access to the Internet. • Videos
  • Questions and answers
  • interactive presentations
  • provide some training specifically for research
  • have more interactive presentations
  • provide state specific privacy concerns
The PowerPoint presentations were much better perceived than the videos with actors, which sometimes had stereotypes of clueless bosses etc. that seemed quite outdated. Interactive presentations are the best since they require the employees to be involved and will guarantee that the staff will remember those examples more than the ones that they watched or read.

We use the training in our organization to keep our employees and customers up to date on cyber security awareness to safeguard our organization against cyber attacks such as phishing emails, ransomware, internet security, mobile security, etc. We use posters in our lobbies for customer awareness and schedule monthly training videos and modules for employees.

  • Weekly and Monthly Bulletins.
  • Awareness Posters and Materials.
  • I really don't have any suggestions for improvements.
The training modules, etc., are updated frequently and are relevant to cyber security issues currently being exploited. There is also a wide variety of training techniques used to keep content fresh and trainees engaged. From videos, training modules, and short cartoons, we are able to offer content that does not appear to be repetitive or boring. We use KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training to train our users on proper security techniques. Understanding current threats and how to recognize those threats and prevent yourself from becoming a victim of them is the main result we are hoping to achieve and KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training gives us the best chance to do that. Our users have all learned how to be better prepared to work in the modern high technology world by using KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training.
  • The training videos are excellent!
  • The Phishing email tests have worked very well for us.
  • The monthly security tests we have set up give us a good picture of how well prepared our users are and where we need to concentrate future trainings.
  • I would like to see more "slide show" training that don't require audio since all of our workstations do not have speakers.

Training our users to basically be paranoid about all incoming emails and to be suspicious of anything that looks even a little unusual has helped us to protect our systems and data. The user security training provided by KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is the best I have seen anywhere.
